The Big Frog 65 is a favorite race in the endurance scene. It packs 8,000+ feet of climbing in just 65 miles. Racers will enjoy the same single track, mountain views and fast descents through the Cherokee National Forest as the Cohutta 100.
The weather in Southeastern Tennessee in late April ranges in expression. Expect a chilly morning for sure on race day, but a quick warming up in the early miles. Eight Aid Stations provide supplemental support throughout the course and a delicious meal and a coveted “Finisher” mug await at the Finish Line.
The Big Frog 65 race course includes three, double pass Aid Stations for a total of SIX Aid Station passes - two of which are drop bag locations. These allow racers to access their drop bags at two Aid Station once on the way out, and once on the way back.
Our Aid Stations are well stocked with fresh water and salty, refreshing snacks. Carry with you the hydration and nutrition you require according to your training and heath needs.
Each racer is allowed one (1), one-gallon drop-bag that can be picked up and filled up on check-in day.
